PocketBible acts like a concordance to help you find anything in the Bible by word or phrase. You can search reference books and your own notes in the same way.
- Instant Find - Highlight any word or phrase and tap the Find icon to immediately see every occurrence.
- Boolean Searches - Find a passage when you remember a few words. Use AND, OR, NOT and XOR to perform searches like:
- "Jesus AND Peter" to find everywhere Jesus and Peter are mentioned in the same verse.
- "Paul OR Saul" when limited to the New Testament finds references to the Apostle Paul under either name.
- Phrase Searches - Find any phrase ("John the Baptist") or combine phrases with words using Boolean operators.
- Wildcard Searches - Find words with any ending ("bapt*"), any prefix ("*ful") or any characters in the middle ("un*ness"). Use ? to match a single character ("?aul" for "Paul" or "Saul").

By far the best Bible reader available for CE devices (supports CE 2.0 and up...STILL!). I read the entire Bible on my iPAQ with Laridian's PocketBible. It's fast, provides enough practical features to make it usable, the app and books can be in RAM or flash, books are compressed to about 2.3MB each (average), fast searches, red letter...highly recommended. I carry 5 different translations with me wherever I go, and my iPAQ fits in my pocket. Plus I have the Unger's dictionary for when I'm feeling scholarly and want to read the commentaries :)

Really good pocket pc Bible. It lets you easily search for specific verses in any book. A little bit more use of color would have been nice. Good value.
